Typography and Education - from Scott Lyon

saluté peoples!

this area has been on my mind for quite some time.
it revolves around the topic of typography and education.
i would like to hear points of view, opinions {positive/negative}
debates and attitudes on this topic.
i guess my interested was moved by an article in “eye” magazine,
{eye: 37, volume10, autumn 2000}
the article was by lucienne roberts,

amongst many issues raised, was a suggestion on whether type should be taught as a stand alone subject?
i am looking to set off a debate on this theme, what are your experiences?

Where in AUS are Australian Typographiegos?

Hello my Legible friends,

I have come to the conclusion that we need a better ratio in the Links and Resources section of this site.


I would like to see more Australian individuals and companies doing good things with type on the list.

Therefore if you yourself are doing good things with type or know of someone or a company who should be on the list and acknowledged, put them down here and I will add them to the Links and Resources section.

Uncover the buried treasure.
